- Sift the flour and mix in the salt. 2. Add the water and knead a stretchy dough. Adjust the water and flour as needed — the dough shouldn't stick to your hands or be too stiff. 3. Cover the dough with a towel and let it rest for 10 minutes. 4. Meanwhile, wash the green onions and dry them with paper towels. Chop them up. 5. Divide the dough into small pieces and shape each into a ball. 6. Roll the balls out fairly thin, place the onion in the center of each round, and leave the edges bare. Then bring the edges together at the center, wrapping the filling into a little pouch. Alternatively, spread the filling over the sheet of dough, roll it up like a log, and coil it into a spiral. However you shape them, gently roll the placinte out with a rolling pin so they become flat and even. 7. Fry the placinte on both sides in a well-heated skillet with vegetable oil until beautifully golden. Enjoy!
