Cooking method
Using a sieve, we strongly grind cottage cheese grains. Mix the melted butter with it, as well as egg and sour cream. Pour soda, salt, sugar. A cup and a half of flour closes our queue of dough components. Add and begin to knead it. We will not use yeast.
Sprinkle the work surface of the table with the remaining flour. We dump the dough on the table and start kneading. Knead for more than five minutes, periodically adding flour. Done.
And now we are making a wonderful filling. We wash the sorrel under the tap, chop it. Pour the pieces of greens into the frying pan, seasoning with oil. Turn on the slow fire and pass the sorrel. You will notice how it gradually "shrinks" in size. That's what we need.
As it gets ready, we remove it from the stove, and begin modeling. Divide the dough into pieces and roll them out. We put on the future
sorrel pies
the filling itself, a teaspoon at a time. Add a teaspoon of sugar to each billet. Instead of sugar, you can add salt, as you like. Much less salt will be needed.
Firmly connect the pancakes from the dough by the edges. Turn on the stove, put a frying pan on it and fry at a low temperature. As it roasts, turn the pies over. We put the finished pieces on one plate. It is best to eat these pies when they are at room temperature. Enjoy!
