Bannitsa

Bulgarian pie will be a great addition to a mug of hot tea! Not so long ago, visiting my mother, I had a chance to try such pastries as bannitsa. I liked this food so much that, of course, I learned from my mother a detailed culinary recipe for this dish and immediately cooked it at home. Now I will share with you the way of making this dessert.

We start by kneading a steep, elastic dough from the above ingredients and leaving it to melt for about 30-40 minutes. In the dough we take 1 tbsp.l. melted butter.

After the specified time, we divide our dough into 9 equal parts. Then, using a rolling pin, we roll out each part into thin cakes, after which we let them dry slightly.

After that, beat the cottage cheese with chicken eggs, a little melted honey, butter (2 tbsp.l.), granulated sugar and salt. Now we put the tortillas in a heat-resistant form, smearing them first with butter, and then with stuffing. Then we put our product in a preheated 180 degree oven for 4-5 minutes.
