Step 1:
Season the ground meat with salt and pepper to taste and add the onion, either finely chopped or ground.

Spread each waffle sheet with a thin layer of the meat and stack them on top of one another, leaving the top sheet bare.

Cut the stack into serving pieces. Beat 2 eggs with a little salt and half an eggshell's worth of water. Dip the pieces in the batter and fry them in a skillet in vegetable oil on both sides.
