Cooking method
Cooking chicken liver is quite simple, but you will have to make an effort at the stage of preparing products. So, my liver, and then cut out the films and tubules, rinse again and transfer the already prepared liver into a saucepan.
Fill the liver with clean filtered water, add salt to taste, mix.
Remove the husk from the onion and add it entirely to the pan with the liver. We also send the bay leaves washed under running water there.
Put the pan on high heat and wait for the liquid to boil. When this happens, turn down the heat to the very minimum and cook the liver from this moment for 15 minutes. In the process, add spices to taste. For example, it would be good to add peppers (you can mix), dried aromatic herbs. In general, we focus on our own preferences in this matter.
If the liver is boiled for the baby, then it is better to exclude all spices and herbs by adding only a little salt.
When the specified time is passed, we drain the water from the pan, and serve the liver to the table with any side dish. Do not forget to remove the onion, bay leaves and other spices. Cereals, pasta, boiled potatoes, boiled or steamed vegetables are perfect for the liver. You can serve the liver with fresh vegetables and herbs. And of course! Do not forget about your favorite sauces, which will perfectly complement the taste of the liver. Cream sauces are especially harmoniously combined with boiled liver.
Liver cooked in this way can be added to salads. If you grind it with a blender, it is easy to prepare the filling for pancakes. You can even just cook sandwiches with such a liver - you will get a nutritious snack. In general, a convenient dish, while light, hearty and delicious! Cooking it, as you can clearly see, is easy and fast.
Bon appetit!
