Cooking method

Step 1:
Trim the membranes off the liver and rinse it.

Step 2:
Cut it into pieces, whatever size is convenient.

Soak in milk for 1 hour.

Fry on one side for 1–2 minutes, depending on the thickness of the piece.

Step 5:
Fry the other side the same way.

Step 6:
Sauté the onion with the carrot.

Step 7:
Slice the mushrooms.

Step 8:
Add them to the onion and carrot. Simmer for 3–5 minutes.

Step 9:
Combine everything, pour in the water, and add the sour cream, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5–10 minutes.
- The liver comes out very tender and tasty with any side dish.
