Cooking method
- Grind the chicken breast in a meat grinder. Peel the onion and chop it finely. Cut the pink, fragrant ham very finely and mix it with the sautéed onion, whole milk, and flour. Add the ground chicken to the mixture, sprinkle with allspice, and salt to taste. Stir everything together and cook it in a skillet for 25 minutes over low heat. Turn off the heat and let it cool. Shape the mixture into chicken dumplings. In a separate bowl, beat the eggs; dip the dumplings in the egg, roll them in flour or breadcrumbs, and fry in hot vegetable oil until golden. Serve with fluffy rice, boiled potatoes, or pasta on the side. A generous scattering of fresh herbs brings out the flavor of the fried dumplings.
