Cooking method
- Whenever my good friends visit, they order this dish right away. I've written the recipe for 2 servings, but if you're expecting guests or need more, just double or triple everything and it will work out fine. So: cut the potatoes, onion, and chicken into small, even cubes, and slice the mushrooms thin. Heat a skillet and add the butter. As soon as it melts, add all the ingredients at once. Fry over high heat first, then cover with a lid, lower the heat to minimum, and let it cook for about half an hour. Season with salt and pepper — in moderation — pour in the sour cream, and cover again. After about 5 minutes, sprinkle cheese over the top and cook for another 5 minutes. The dish is ready once the cheese has melted. Serve garnished with fresh dill.
