Braised Pork Ribs with Potatoes in a Slow Cooker
A wonderful pairing of meat and potatoes!
Cooking method

Step 1:
For the amount of vegetables and meat here, you'll need about a quart of hot boiled water. Choose whatever spices you like.

Cut the ribs apart into individual pieces.

Step 3:
Pour a little vegetable oil into the slow cooker insert and brown the ribs in it for 20–25 minutes on the "Bake" setting.

While the meat browns, finely chop the onion...

...and do the same with the carrot.

Step 6:
When the ribs are done browning, add the onion and cook everything on the same setting for another 5 minutes.

Step 7:
Then add the carrot, season with salt and your favorite spices, and keep cooking for another 5 minutes.

Step 8:
Cut the potatoes into medium-sized pieces.

Step 9:
Add the potatoes to the slow cooker, pour in the water, and close the lid. Cook the dish for 50 minutes on the same setting. Garnish the finished dish with fresh herbs. Enjoy!
