Lazy cabbage rolls in layers in a slow cooker

Vegetable dish for the whole family - you can't think of a tastier one! . Do you like cabbage rolls, but you don't have time to cook them? Do you buy semi-finished products? It is better to refuse this option, and cook your favorite dish at home, from high-quality products, using my recipe for lazy cabbage rolls and my slow cooker :)

Cooking method

Cooking time: 1 h 30 min

Prepare the ingredients for making cabbage rolls:

- rinse the rice, put it in the bowl of a slow cooker, pour in a little cold water (150 ml will be enough), select the program "Rice" (or "Porridge") and set the cooking time to 20 minutes. Cool the finished rice;

- chop the white cabbage into thin strips, sprinkle with salt and remember with your hands, then mix with sauerkraut;

- rinse the dill, finely chop;

- peel the carrots, rinse, grate on a coarse grater;

- peel the onion, cut into small cubes;

- fry the onion in vegetable oil for 2 minutes, then add carrots and dill to it, pour in a little water (50 ml) and simmer on low heat for 5 minutes;

- put the minced meat in a bowl, add boiled rice, salt and add dry spices to taste, mix;

- put the tomato sauce in a bowl, add sour cream and 300 ml of hot boiled water, mix (adjust the taste with salt and sugar, if necessary).

When everything is ready, you can assemble the dish:

- lubricate the bottom of the bowl with vegetable oil;

- lay out the first layer of cabbage;

- then a mixture of rice and minced meat;

- on top of which are fried vegetables with dill.

Thus, repeat the layers until all the components are finished, the main thing is that the top layer should be carrots with onions.

Fill the stacked layers with tomato-sour cream mixture, place the bowl in a slow cooker. Set the "Stewing" mode, select the type of food – "Vegetables" and set the cooking time to 40 minutes. After the beep, leave the cabbage rolls on the "Preheat" for 10-15 minutes.

Serve cabbage rolls hot, cut into portions like a cake.
