Chicken Leg Quarters in Their Own Juices in a Slow Cooker
Simple, tasty, and fast — a great dinner solution! Chicken leg quarters are, without exaggeration, a kitchen favorite: easy to cook and reliably delicious. And the trusty slow cooker cuts your hands-on time to almost nothing, helping you delight the whole family with a hearty, appetizing dish with hardly any effort.
Cooking method
-
Step 1:
Rinse the leg quarters and put them in a large plate or bowl. Season with salt, pepper, and any other seasonings you like, and rub them into the chicken well.
-
Step 2:
Cut the garlic into thin slices.
-
Step 3:
Put the chicken in the slow-cooker bowl. Scatter the sliced garlic over the chicken, and lay a few bay leaves on top. Set the bowl in the slow cooker and turn it on to the "Stew" or "Bake" setting for 1 hour. The dish is ready. See the video recipe for a detailed walk-through.
