Cooking method
Recently, a friend of mine went on vacation to Vietnam. Knowing that I love to cook, she asked for recipes in all the places where she ate. Some gave, and some took care of the secrets of cooking. Here's one of the ones she brought me.
Soak the rice in water for 5 hours, rinse, put it in a colander and add salt. Pour boiling water over the pre-soaked beans, put them in a colander, rub and season with salt. Pass the pork through a meat grinder, add finely chopped onion, anchovies, salt and pepper. Wash the cabbage leaves, scald with boiling water and put two together. Put on them in layers, leveling, rice, beans, minced meat, beans again and rice on top. Roll up the leaves like cabbage rolls and tie them with a thread.
Cook for 15-18 minutes, then remove and put under a press to squeeze out the water.
Quite unusual pies turn out, but you can't tear yourself away from food until they run out!
Serve ready-made pies with pickled pepper or just cook them a little with lecho. The taste will be awesome!
