Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
Cut onion into quarter rings, diced pumpkin, finely chop garlic.
Step 2:
Boil the chicken in salted water, do not pour out the broth.
Step 3:
Fry onion and garlic in vegetable oil until translucent.
Step 4:
Add the pumpkin to the onion, sprinkle with thyme and fry for about 5 minutes.
Step 5:
Add 200 ml of chicken broth and simmer for 20 minutes until soft. In the process, add salt to taste.
Step 6:
Mash the finished pumpkin in puree.
Step 7:
Cut chicken meat into arbitrary pieces and lightly fry.
Step 8:
Boil the pasta in the remaining broth. If it is not enough, add water. Cook until almost ready. It is important not to digest, so that they keep their shape well. Do not pour out the water from under the pasta, it may be needed.
Step 9:
Mix pasta, chicken and mashed potatoes. If the puree is too thick and it is difficult to stir - add water from under the pasta, I needed about 150 ml.
This is a simplified recipe from Jamie Oliver. In the original, tagliatelli was cooked, butter and olive oil were used for frying onions and garlic, and pork ham was used as a meat component.
