Step 1:
How to make a roll of pita bread with minced meat in the oven? Prepare the necessary products. You can use any minced meat (pork, beef, chicken). I have mixed (pork and beef).
Step 2:
Peel the onion, wash it, chop it on a fine grater.
Step 3:
Combine the minced meat with one egg, prepared onion. Add salt, ground black pepper, mix well. Spices can be taken at will and taste.
Step 4:
Beat the second egg in a small bowl with a fork until smooth.
Step 5:
Smear the pita bread sheet with a whipped egg using a cooking brush. I have a pita bread size of 40*50 cm.
Step 6:
Cover with a second sheet of pita bread so that the roll is stronger and does not get wet from the juiciness of the filling during baking. Also brush the second sheet of pita bread with egg. This should be done quickly, as the edges of the pita quickly dry up.
Step 7:
Spread the minced meat evenly on the surface of the pita bread.
Step 8:
Roll the pita bread lengthwise into a tight roll.
Step 9:
Cut the roll across into 2 parts, put it on a baking sheet covered with parchment. You can bake a roll in a baking dish. Brush the roll with beaten egg on top.
Step 10:
Bake the roll in a preheated 180C oven for 25 minutes. 5 minutes before the end of cooking, I once again smeared the roll with egg so that the crust was more ruddy.
Step 11:
Cut the finished lavash roll with minced meat into pieces and serve. Enjoy your meal!
How to choose the right pita bread? First of all, look at the date of manufacture on the package. Do not take expired pastries. Fresh pita bread should have a pleasant smell. Take a good look so that there are no stains and signs of mold on it.
In order for the oven to have time to heat up to the desired temperature, turn it on in advance (10-20 minutes before the start of cooking).
