Step-by-step cooking

Cooking time: 2 hours
  1. Step 1:

    Step 1.

To prepare the yeast dough, prepare the necessary ingredients.

  2. Step 2:

    Step 2.

First prepare the sourdough. Mix a small amount of warm milk with yeast so that they dissolve in milk. Then add a couple of spoonfuls of flour and sugar. Stir and let stand for a while to start the fermentation process. This will be seen by the bubbles that appear.

  3. Step 3:

    Step 3.

Pour the sourdough into the dough bowl. Add the egg, melted butter and the remains of warm milk. Stir and, gradually adding flour, knead the dough.

  4. Step 4:

    Step 4.

Cover the finished dough and put it in a warm place for 1 hour so that it fits.

  5. Step 5:

    Step 5.

You can make buns from the finished dough.

  6. Step 6:

    Step 6.

For the filling, take any jam. I'll use raspberry.

  7. Step 7:

    Step 7.

Divide the dough into several parts. Orient by the size of the intended buns.

  8. Step 8:

    Step 8.

Mash each ball of dough a little with your hands into a flat cake. Place a spoonful of jam in the center of each tortilla. Pinch the edges with the seam down.

  9. Step 9:

    Step 9.

Grease the prepared baking dish with vegetable oil and lay out the buns, seam down. Let them lie a little loose. The mold can be used as a simple round or large baking sheet. The more you take the form, the more buns will fit. I have 6 buns in a 20 cm shape. Brush the top of the buns with a little vegetable oil, milk or yolk.

  10. Step 10:

    Step 10.

Put the form with the buns in the oven, preheated to 190 degrees for 25-30 minutes. Cool the finished buns a little.

  11. Step 11:

    Step 11.

Separate the cooled buns from each other and help yourself. Bon appetit!

This dough is quite versatile. It can be used both for baking buns and for making pies. The filling for this dough is suitable for any - sweet or not sweet. This can be minced meat, stewed cabbage, cottage cheese filling or, for example, apple.
The dough itself is not difficult to cook. Yes, and it rises in the heat very quickly.
Homemade pastries are all in great demand.
