Step 1:
How to make zucchini with minced meat and tomatoes in the oven? Prepare the necessary ingredients for this. Minced meat can be used from any type of meat or mixed composition. I will use minced pork. I make such minced meat at home myself, since a lot of moisture and fat is released from the store. Wash the zucchini and tomatoes in running water from contamination.
Step 2:
Choose a young squash. Such a squash has a thin skin that does not need to be cleaned and there is no need to remove the seeds. Cut off the tails on both sides, and cut the zucchini into circles, 1-1.5 cm thick. It is not necessary to cut very thinly, since when baking, the slices of zucchini become very soft.
Step 3:
Minced meat must be pre-fried with onions in butter. This is necessary in order to equalize the cooking time of all ingredients. Zucchini and tomatoes are baked quickly, and minced meat needs a little more time. For frying, peel the onion and finely chop. Fry it for a couple of minutes, then add minced meat to it and fry everything together for another 10 minutes. You can add a little salt to the minced meat and add spices to taste.
Step 4:
Choose any heat-resistant form for baking. It can be made of glass, metal or, like mine, ceramic. Grease the bottom and sides of the mold with a little oil and lay out the prepared circles of zucchini.
Step 5:
Put a little stuffing from minced meat on each circle of zucchini. For flavor, you can add a little crushed garlic. It will give the dish an additional pleasant aroma.
Step 6:
Cut tomatoes into circles and place a tomato circle on each zucchini.
Step 7:
Grate the cheese and sprinkle on each tomato. Put the mold in the oven, preheated to 180 degrees, for 20-25 minutes. When baking, be guided by your oven.
Step 8:
During baking, the zucchini will become soft and begin to fry a little. Some juice will appear from them. And the cheese on the surface will melt and brown a little. Remove the mold from the oven, transfer the zucchini to a platter and serve.
Step 9:
Delicious, juicy and fragrant zucchini with tomatoes and minced meat are ready! Enjoy your meal!
Choose juicy tomatoes, but dense. Soft fruits do not keep their shape well, in the process of slicing and cooking they will spread into a shapeless mass and spoil the appearance of the dish.
