Step 1:
How to bake Puffs with cottage cheese from puff pastry? Prepare the products according to the list. It is advisable to take puff pastry in square plates - it does not have to be rolled out too much to get the desired shape and size. Defrost the dough in advance. Take cottage cheese not wet and not dry, any fat content. Wash and dry the raw egg. Wipe it with a paper napkin.
Step 2:
Beat the egg into a separate bowl and shake it with a fork.
Step 3:
Put the cottage cheese, half of the beaten egg, sugar and vanilla sugar in another bowl.
Step 4:
Rub all the ingredients in a bowl with a fork until smooth.
Step 5:
Spread the puff pastry on the work surface of the table and roll it out slightly into an even square. Cut the resulting dough layer into 4 identical squares.
Step 6:
Make angular cuts in the corners of the squares as shown in the photo.
Step 7:
Put the curd filling in the middle of the dough squares. It is better to immediately divide it into equal parts - according to the number of puffs.
Step 8:
Connect the corners of the squares in pairs over the filling in the same way as in the photo. You can design the puffs in a different way, the way you like it more. But for me - these look very beautiful!
Step 9:
Place the puffs on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
Step 10:
Grease the puffs with the remaining half of the egg. Place the baking sheet in a preheated oven to 190°Remove from the oven and bake for about 20 minutes. Determine the exact time and temperature of baking according to your oven.
