Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
How to make a mannikin on kefir in the oven with flour? Measure out the necessary ingredients. Kefir is suitable for any fat content. Take it out of the refrigerator in advance so that it is not cold.
Step 2:
Pour the semolina with kefir, mix well. Leave the resulting mass for 30-40 minutes so that the semolina swells well. During this time, you can mix a couple more times for uniformity of the process.
Step 3:
Melt the butter in the microwave in the appropriate mode. You can dissolve the oil on the stove over low heat. Before adding the melted butter to the dough, it should cool down.
Step 4:
Mix flour with baking powder and sift through a sieve so that it is enriched with oxygen. Thanks to this, the cake will rise well during baking and will turn out lush and airy.
Step 5:
In a suitable sized bowl, whisk the eggs with sugar and vanilla sugar until fluffy. You can use a mixer, but an ordinary whisk will do well.
Step 6:
Put the swollen semolina into the resulting mass, mix until smooth.
Step 7:
Pour in the non-hot melted butter, mix well.
Step 8:
Pour in the flour sifted with baking powder.
Step 9:
Mix everything thoroughly until the lumps disappear. The dough turns out to be thick, fluid.
Step 10:
Cover the bottom of the baking dish with a diameter of 18-20 cm with parchment. Lubricate the walls of the mold with a small amount of vegetable oil. Pour the dough into the mold.
Step 11:
Bake the mannikin in a preheated 180C oven for 40-45 minutes. Check readiness with a skewer. It should come out of the middle of the pie dry, without traces of stuck dough. The baking time and mode may differ from the specified one. Take into account the peculiarities of your oven.
Step 12:
Let the finished mannikin cool and serve to the table. Bon appetit!
Butter can be melted in the microwave or in a water bath.
How to melt butter in the microwave?
Cut the butter into small pieces and place it in a special container. To prevent the oil from splashing when heated, cover the oil vessel with a paper towel. The oil should be melted either at the lowest power or in defrosting mode. At first, five seconds will be enough. Next, if the butter has not melted yet, set it again for 5 seconds and start the microwave. Repeat the process several times until the desired result.
In order for the oven to have time to heat up to the desired temperature, turn it on in advance (10-20 minutes before the start of cooking).
Keep in mind that everyone's ovens are different. The temperature and cooking time may differ from those specified in the recipe. To make any baked dish successful, use useful information about the features of ovens !
