Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
Heat the milk in a saucepan or an iron bowl, add a piece of butter there so that it melts - when the butter is almost melted, turn off the fire.
Step 2:
Pour the milk and butter into a deep bowl, add salt, sugar and beat in the egg, which can be pre-whipped with a whisk.
Step 3:
Pour in the sifted flour mixed with high-speed yeast.
Step 4:
We start kneading with a spoon or mixer with nozzles "for the dough ". I used a mixer. When the dough comes together in a lump, we will hang it with our hands.
Step 5:
Lubricate your hands with vegetable oil and knead the elastic dough - knead on the table for 5-7 minutes and then again transfer the dough into a bowl greased with vegetable oil, forming a bun from it. Cover the bowl with cling film and put the dough in the heat for 1 hour for the approach.
Step 6:
We divide the dough that came up into several equal parts - I got 7 pieces for medium-sized pies. We roll them into balls, you do not need to add flour.
Step 7:
We knead each ball with our hands into a flat cake. At this stage, you can lay out the stuffing that you have planned. This dough is not sweet, so it will go well with sweet or salty filling.
Step 8:
Pinch the edges, forming an oblong patty.
Step 9:
We spread the blanks on a baking sheet covered with baking paper or parchment - no need to lubricate. You can put the pies seam up or down - it's at your discretion. We leave it for proofing for 20 minutes under a food film.
Step 10:
Grease the pies with a mixture of beaten egg and a tablespoon of milk.
Step 11:
Bake in the oven at 180 degrees for 15-20 minutes until you need the degree of browning.
