Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
How to make a meat casserole with potatoes? Prepare everything you need for this. Peel the potatoes and rinse them from dirt. Sour cream can be taken of any fat content. It is necessary in order to make the dish juicier and more tender. I have cherry tomatoes, but you can use any tomatoes. Instead of sour cream, you can use mayonnaise or heavy cream.
Step 2:
For baking, use a glass or ceramic mold. Lubricate the bottom and sides of the mold with vegetable oil. Peel the onion and cut it into half rings or a little smaller. Put the chopped onion in a mold, evenly distributing it over the entire surface.
Step 3:
Cut the peeled potatoes into pieces and put them in a mold on the onion. Brush the potatoes with sour cream. Sprinkle a little salt and spices.
Step 4:
Cut pork meat into small pieces.
Step 5:
Put the sliced pork on the potatoes. Also smear a little sour cream. Sprinkle with salt and spices. As a spice, I use a mixture of ground peppers and a little paprika.
Step 6:
You can add more potato slices between the meat. Wash the cherry tomatoes, cut in half and spread over the surface of the casserole.
Step 7:
Cover the mold with foil and put it in the oven preheated to 180 degrees. Cook the casserole for 45-60 minutes. Be guided by your oven. Potatoes and meat should become soft.
Step 8:
By the end of baking, prepare the cheese. I use cream cheese. I like its aftertaste in baked dishes. Grate the cheese on a fine grater.
Step 9:
Remove the foil from the casserole, sprinkle everything with grated cheese and return to the oven for another 10-15 minutes so that the cheese melts and browns a little.
Step 10:
Delicious and hearty casserole is ready! Serve hot!
Step 11:
Bon appetit!
For this recipe, it does not matter which part of the carcass to choose, since it will still become soft during cooking.
So that the mucous membrane of the eyes is not irritated when slicing onions, rinse the onion and knife with cold water. The cutting board will not absorb the unpleasant onion smell if you rub it with a piece of lemon before slicing.
Keep in mind that everyone's ovens are different. The temperature and cooking time may differ from those specified in the recipe. To make any baked dish successful, use useful information about the features of ovens !
