Step 1:
Prepare the ingredients. Oil is needed only for frying onions. Salt and pepper to taste. It is better to take fresh liver, which has not been frozen before.
Step 2:
Rinse the liver under running water, remove the films. The liver can be cut into large pieces. Transfer to a bowl or baking dish, add salt and pepper to taste, mix and leave for 10 minutes.
Step 3:
Peel the onion, cut into half rings. Fry the onion in oil in a frying pan until browned over medium heat, stirring constantly.
Step 4:
Put the fried onion on top of the liver, evenly distributing it.
Step 5:
Cover the mold with the liver with a lid or foil, put it in a preheated oven to 190 degrees for 30 minutes. It is better to check readiness during baking by piercing the liver, if the juice is transparent, then the liver is ready. It cannot be cooked longer, otherwise it will be over-dried.
Step 6:
Serve the finished liver hot. Any potato, rice, pasta is suitable for a side dish.
