Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
How to make a quick simple sweet cake for tea in the oven? Prepare the products. Measure them with a 250 ml glass. Kefir can take any fat content, it does not matter. The only thing that matters is its acid. The sourer the kefir, the more soda you will need, then take half a teaspoon. Take jam or jam without seeds.
Step 2:
Pour kefir into a deep bowl and pour semolina into it. Mix it well and leave it for 20 minutes to swell.
Step 3:
Wash the eggs well and beat them into another bowl. Be sure to wash the eggs before use, as even the seemingly clean shell may contain harmful bacteria. It is best to use food detergents and a brush. Start beating the eggs with a mixer, gradually adding sugar. Then add baking soda, baking powder and vanilla. Be careful with vanilla — in large quantities it begins to taste bitter. Put quite a bit on the tip of the knife.
Step 4:
Beat the eggs to a fluffy light mass. Then, without ceasing to beat, start adding the swollen semolina by spoonful. When all the semolina is added, turn off the mixer. You should get a homogeneous mass without lumps with a consistency like liquid sour cream.
Step 5:
Take a 30*40 cm baking sheet. Cover it with baking paper. Pour the dough onto a baking sheet, spread it evenly with a spatula.
Step 6:
Put the baking sheet in the oven, preheated to 180 °C. Bake the cake for 25-30 minutes. It should be gilded. The exact time will depend on the characteristics of your oven. Remove the hot cake from the baking sheet along with the paper and cool slightly.
Step 7:
Then flip it with the paper up and take it off. Using a cutting board and a sharp knife, cut the edges of the cake, about 1 cm. Then cut the cake in half, and then the halves in half again. You will get 4 identical rectangles.
Step 8:
Smear each rectangle with jam or jam. The sourer the jam is, the tastier the pie will turn out. I have raspberry jam.
Step 9:
Lubricate all the pieces in this way, stacking them one on top of the other.
Step 10:
Cut the trimmings from the edges into cubes.
Step 11:
Sprinkle them on top of the pie. You can also sprinkle it with powdered sugar.
Step 12:
The pie will taste better if it stands for 2 hours at room temperature. Cut it into pieces and serve it to the table. Enjoy your meal!
The pie turned out very tasty! It looks like a sponge roll with berry filling.
