Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
Prepare all the necessary products. Take home-made eggs, at least WITH, - such eggs are not only large and delicious, but also have, as a rule, a bright orange yolk and your dish will also turn out very beautiful. The bun is wheat, not sweet, with a neutral taste of white bread. Any cheese: hard varieties, semi-hard, as well as mozzarella and even cheese with mold are suitable.
Step 2:
The bun does not necessarily have to be very fresh and soft, on the contrary, it is easier to cut a bun that has already started to harden. In the center of the bun, using a sharp knife or a spoon with sharp edges (for example, an ice cream spoon), make a recess approximately the size to fit 1 egg into it.
Step 3:
Cut the butter into cubes and put it in the recess in the bun. Butter can be replaced with any vegetable oil and lubricate the inside of the bun with a silicone brush. Also, for a more satisfying option, you can lay out pieces of bacon, sausage, mushrooms, or even chicken or meat.
Step 4:
Wash the egg very well. It is necessary to do this, because the eggshell contains a huge amount of bacteria. It is best to wash eggs with hot water and use a special tool and brush. Carefully, so that the yolk remains whole, drive the egg into the recess in the bun. However, it is not necessary to keep the yolk whole - do it according to your taste. You can beat the egg with a fork in a separate bowl and then pour it into the bun.
Step 5:
Salt the egg. At this stage, you can pepper it or add some of your favorite seasonings: garlic powder, a pinch of Provencal herbs or paprika - it's a matter of taste!
Step 6:
Grate the cheese and sprinkle the egg on top. If you have cheese with mold, just break it into small pieces, if mozzarella, tear it with your hands. Bake the bun with the egg in a preheated 180 degree oven for about 15-20 minutes until the desired yolk density.
Step 7:
Serve the breakfast dish with fresh seasonal vegetables and herbs. Enjoy your meal!
