  1. Step 1:

    Step 1.

How to make mullet in foil in the oven? Prepare the specified ingredients. Fish, of course, take only fresh. I have a big one, per kilogram, but you can take two smaller ones. A couple of slices of lemon is enough. Herbs can be taken dry (set), and you can optionally fresh. I have basil, thyme, dill, parsley. Butter optional.

  2. Step 2:

    Step 2.

Wash the fish under running water, dry it. Cut up, removing the insides (necessarily black film), cut off the fins and tail. If desired, cut off the head. If you plan to serve on a festive table, then it is better to leave the head and tail. Cover the oven dish with foil, grease with vegetable oil, put the fish on it. Season the mullet with salt and a little pepper on all sides and inside.

  3. Step 3:

    Step 3.

Wash the lemon, cut it. Put lemon slices inside the fish. Sprinkle the fish itself with lemon juice, this step can be left at the very end.

  4. Step 4:

    Step 4.

Wash the herbs and tear them with your hands. Put part inside the fish, put part on top. If there are dry herbs, then sprinkle them on the fish also inside and outside. In general, you can take any herbs, you can refuse them altogether by adding, for example, garlic.

  5. Step 5:

    Step 5.

Put the pieces of butter on top of the fish. Make incisions on the fish so that it gets soaked and tastes better.

  6. Step 6:

    Step 6.

Cover the prepared fish with foil. If there is time, you can leave the mullet to marinate like this. Then put the fish in a preheated 180 gr. oven for 30-40 minutes.

  7. Step 7:

    Step 7.

Serve the finished fish better immediately, hot. For a side dish, you can offer fresh vegetables, rice, potatoes.
