Step 1:
How to make buffalo wings? Prepare the necessary ingredients. Clean the wings, rinse well and dry with paper towels.
Step 2:
Cut the wings into 3 parts at the joint, set aside the tips (you can leave them on the broth).
Step 3:
The rest of the parts will be used in this recipe. Transfer the meat to a large bowl.
Step 4:
Add salt.
Step 5:
Pepper.
Step 6:
Add spices to taste - I took paprika and a mixture of peppers.
Step 7:
Pass garlic through the press.
Step 8:
Pour in some vegetable oil.
Step 9:
And mix everything well so that all the meat is evenly covered with a fragrant marinade.
Step 10:
Place the wings on a baking sheet greased with vegetable oil, at a distance from each other. The baking sheet can be additionally covered with parchment or foil. Bake in the oven at 200 degrees for 30-40 minutes. Determine the exact time by your oven.
Step 11:
As soon as you see that the wings are already browned and almost ready, start cooking the signature sauce "Buffalo". To do this, melt butter on the stove in a ladle or saucepan.
Step 12:
Add brown sugar to the butter. The ladle should stand on the stove over low heat while you do it all. Prepare all the products for the sauce in advance, so as not to waste time preparing them, but immediately add them.
Step 13:
Stir until the sugar is completely dissolved.
Step 14:
Add tomato paste or good ketchup to the sauce, mix.
Step 15:
Add the chili sauce, at least 1 tablespoon, and taste it. If there is no chili sauce, you can make do with ketchup or tomato paste and add red hot pepper to taste.
Step 16:
Add a little ground black pepper, mix.
Step 17:
Pass garlic through the press.
Step 18:
Stir the sauce, heat it almost to a boil, but do not boil, otherwise it may peel off.
Step 19:
Remove the browned wings from the oven.
Step 20:
Transfer the wings to the sauce and stir, let them soak for 3-5 minutes.
Step 21:
According to the classics, serve buffalo wings with beer with celery stalks, carrot cubes and cheese sauce. Enjoy your meal!
This recipe came to us from America when Teresa Belissimo, the owner of a small bar in the town of Buffalo, came up with the idea of deep-frying chicken wings and serving them in pepper and cream sauce. But, to be honest, in the original version, the dish is very high in calories, and I decided to improve it a little from the point of view of healthy nutrition, the wings are very tasty!!!
