Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
I took red, juicy and sweet apples for the recipe. I don't understand the varieties, I just bought them in the store, which ones I liked and so that they were large. Apples are washed, we remove a thin skin from about half of each apple.
Step 2:
We put the knife at a slight angle and cut out the middle together with the seeds in a cone shape, without cutting to the end, so as not to cut through the bottom and the filling does not leak out. Apples with deep holes are obtained.
Step 3:
In this recipe I also used walnuts, It's not necessary, but it tastes better with them. I bought the nuts peeled, so I just had to chop them slightly with a knife.
Step 4:
Cut a piece of foil or parchment paper. We cover the bottom of the baking dish - I have a rectangular glass one. We install the apples, pour a teaspoon of sugar into the holes and pour a tablespoon of walnuts, as much as possible (as much as will fit).
Step 5:
Sprinkle cinnamon on top of the apples, touching the middle and edges from which the skin was previously cut off. We send the apples to bake in the oven at 180 degrees. The baking time depends on the type of apples. 25 minutes was enough for mine. The main thing is that the apples do not turn into mush, but remain whole.
Step 6:
This is how my apples looked after I took them out of the oven. The aroma was all over the kitchen, and they looked very presentable. I was satisfied!
Diversify your diet with apples baked with sugar, cinnamon and walnuts. Eating them is a pleasure. A healthy dessert for all occasions. Cooking is easier than simple - it can't fail even for those who cook for the first time. I recommend trying it immediately. Have a nice day!
