Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
Prepare all the necessary products. You can buy a ready-made hake fillet or cut fillets from a whole fish. In any case, it is best to use chilled fish - there are much more useful substances in it. If it so happened that the fish still had to be frozen, defrost it correctly. After the freezer, put it in the refrigerator, where the temperature is + 5 degrees and only after 10-12 hours it is already possible to put the fish in room temperature conditions.
Step 2:
Wash the fish well, dry it. Hake fillet is usually quite long, so for convenience it is best to cut it into several parts.
Step 3:
Prepare a heat-resistant mold in which you will bake the fish. Or it can be small portion heat-resistant molds. The size of the shape depends on the number of fish. Put the hake fillets into a tighter mold.
Step 4:
Add a little salt to taste. At the same stage, you can add your favorite herbs and seasonings. Maybe someone will want to pepper the fish or sprinkle it with garlic, gourmets and connoisseurs of fine cooking will most likely want to add some herbs: thyme, rosemary and even mint will perfectly set off the taste of fish, and someone will just limit themselves to a couple of lemon slices. Focus on your taste!
Step 5:
Pour vegetable oil over the fish. According to your choice, it can be anything: from the usual cheap sunflower and corn to elite olive.
Step 6:
Spread sour cream on top, - fat content to your taste. Sour cream can be completely replaced with mayonnaise, which of course is not very difficult, but you can also use cream or light yogurt with a neutral taste.
Step 7:
Cover the mold with foil, put it in a preheated 180 degree oven for 30 minutes. If you like more delicate dietary dishes, cook in foil until fully cooked. And if you are a lover of crispy crust, then 10-15 minutes before the end of baking and already bake the fish to a ruddy state.
Step 8:
Serve the fish immediately while it is hot and fragrant. Bon appetit!
I would like to note that you can cook not only hake, but also any other fish according to this recipe. Best of all, of course, fish fillets.
