Step 1:
To cook turkey with prunes, we will need: 500 g turkey fillet; 100 g pitted prunes; 4 garlic cloves; 2 tbsp vegetable oil; 1 tbsp honey; ground black pepper and salt to taste.
Step 2:
Wash the turkey, dry it, remove the films and cut into medium pieces. I used thigh fillet - this meat turns out a little softer and fatter. But you can also replace it with breast fillet.
Step 3:
Wash the pitted prunes. It is best to check the prunes for the absence of seeds or their fragments, because it very often happens that their particles remain in the fruits and this is found in the midst of the meal and sometimes with not the best consequences for the teeth. Therefore, it is better to check everything in advance. If the prunes are too hard, you can pour boiling water over them and leave for 10 minutes. Then drain the water and dry the dried fruits on a towel.
Step 4:
Peel garlic. Cut large cloves lengthwise into 2-3 pieces. Leave the small ones intact.
Step 5:
In a bowl, combine the turkey fillet and prunes. Add vegetable oil, honey, salt and pepper. It is better to take liquid or semi-liquid honey, which has not had time to completely sugar and harden. Then it's better to disperse the meat. If the honey has hardened, it is better to melt it in the microwave or in the oven and cool it.
Step 6:
Mix everything and leave the meat to marinate for 2 hours in the refrigerator or for 1 hour at room temperature.
Step 7:
Put the turkey with prunes in the baking dish. Spread the garlic cloves on top. Put the turkey form in a preheated 180 ° C oven and bake the meat for about 40 minutes until golden brown. Periodically pour turkey juice from the bottom of the mold.
Step 8:
You can serve turkey with prunes with any side dish. Enjoy your meal!
