Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
How to make pies with cranberries in the oven from yeast dough? Prepare the necessary ingredients for this. For the filling, you can use both fresh cranberries and frozen berries.
Step 2:
To prepare the dough, take a comfortable spacious bowl. Pour warm milk into the bowl. Add yeast and sugar. Add 1/4 of the flour. Mix it up. Cover with a towel and put in a warm place for 20 minutes.
Step 3:
During this time, the yeast will begin its active work and the sourdough will begin to rise with a cap.
Step 4:
Add eggs and vegetable oil to the bowl.
Step 5:
Gradually begin to pour in the sifted flour and knead the dough.
Step 6:
Flour may need a little more or less of what is specified in the recipe. Be guided by the consistency of the finished dough. The dough turns out soft, elastic and does not stick to your hands. At the last stage of kneading, you can lubricate your hands with vegetable oil - and the dough will be easier to knead, and you will need a little less flour. Cover the finished dough with a towel and leave in a warm place for 1 hour.
Step 7:
Prepare the filling. Take the frozen berries out of the freezer in advance and leave them at room temperature so that they thaw. Then flip into a colander to drain the juice.
Step 8:
Mix the berries with sugar and starch. Fresh berries can be immediately mixed with sugar and starch.
Step 9:
Our dough has managed to fit well.
Step 10:
Cut small pieces from the dough, put the filling in the center and make pies.
Step 11:
Spread the pies on a baking sheet lined with parchment. Let them stand for 10-15 minutes. Then grease each pie with egg yolk and put it in the oven, preheated to 180 degrees, for 20-25 minutes.
Step 12:
The finished pies will slightly increase in size and become golden in color. Remove them from the oven, cool them down a little and help yourself. Bon appetit!
Keep in mind that everyone's ovens are different. The temperature and cooking time may differ from those specified in the recipe. To make any baked dish successful, use useful information about the features of ovens !
It is important to sift the flour to saturate it with oxygen. Then the baking will turn out to be airy and will rise well when baking.
