Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
How to make a biscuit with apples? Prepare everything you need for this. Apples can be used any, but sweet and sour will taste good. Sift the flour through a sieve to fill it with oxygen.
Step 2:
In a large bowl, mix flour with salt and add chopped butter. Grind the butter and flour into crumbs. It is most convenient to do this with your hands.
Step 3:
Then pour in cold water and knead the dough. You may have more or less flour than me, focus on the consistency of the dough. The dough is soft and does not stick to your hands at all. Cover the dough with a film and put it in the refrigerator.
Step 4:
At this time, prepare the apple filling. Peel the apples, remove the core and cut into slices.
Step 5:
Roll out the cooled dough on a sheet of parchment in a thin layer, about 0.5 cm thick. On the entire surface of the dough, not reaching a little to the edges, lay out the sliced apples. If desired, at this stage, you can supplement the biscuit with raisins, cherries or raspberries. Any addition will give a new taste.
Step 6:
Wrap the edges of the dough on apples and press. For reliability, you can slightly press down with a fork in a circle. Sprinkle the apples with sugar and put a few pieces of butter. Put the biscuit in the oven, preheated to 180 degrees, for 40-45 minutes. When baking, be guided by your oven.
Step 7:
The finished biscuit will be lightly browned, and the apples will become soft. Remove it from the oven and immediately smear it hot with apricot jam. This will give the biscuit a caramel color.
Step 8:
