Nutria is cooked in the oven very simply.
1. The nutria should be singed from the hairs and cut into portions. This meat (as well as mutton, for example) is not washed.
2. Cut the meat into rather large portions. Do not throw away excess fat. It will come in handy, just put it in a separate bowl. Season the meat with salt and pepper. If desired, you can add your favorite spices, adjika, mustard, soy sauce with honey - whatever you want. For a pure taste and the first time it is better to take only salt and pepper, and then experiment.
3. Peel the onion and garlic and cut the onion into half rings, and the garlic into plates.
4. Place a layer of fat on a baking sheet in an even layer. Next - a layer of onion with garlic. And the last layer is meat.
5. Put the baking sheet in the oven. 180 degrees and an hour and a half. In the middle of cooking, turn the meat to the other side.
6. Serve the nutria baked in the oven, hot, with parsley.
Enjoy!
