Cooking method
This delicious and flavorful dish is not difficult to cook. First you need to prepare the ingredients:
- melt the butter by putting it in a suitable bowl and put it in the microwave for half a minute at low power. If this time is not enough, it will need to be increased. however, you can melt butter on the stove;
- we pour breadcrumbs into a separate bowl - they will give the finished dish a pleasant crispness;
- thoroughly under running warm water, wash the lemon, three with the back of a sponge for washing dishes, then dry with a paper towel. We remove the upper yellow layer of the peel with a special knife or simply using a grater, trying not to touch the white layer. If necessary, grind the zest. Squeeze the juice from the lemon into a cup, and place the zest in a separate bowl;
- wash and dry the dill with paper towels, then chop it finely, leaving a few larger twigs to decorate the finished dish;
- potatoes, and you need to take them young, wash them well and dry them with a paper towel. We choose potatoes of different varieties - this allows us to prepare an original dish, but from the most ordinary products! The thing is that potatoes of different varieties will acquire a different texture and taste different when cooking. If potatoes are suddenly used by an elderly person, they need to be cleaned. Washed potatoes are cut into thin slices;
- knead the feta into crumbs and put it in a clean bowl;
- salmon fillet is washed, dried with paper towels;
- we prepare salt, ground black pepper and broth, which can be replaced with water, to stand nearby.
Everything is ready! And now we move on to the main stage:
1. Turn on the oven to warm up to 190 degrees Celsius.
2. In a separate bowl, mix half of the melted butter with lemon zest, breadcrumbs and chopped dill.
3. Lightly grease the baking dish with any vegetable oil and evenly spread half of the sliced potatoes, sprinkle with some salt and ground black pepper. Sprinkle the potatoes with half of the crumbled feta cheese as well. Next, spread the remaining potatoes, sprinkle with salt, pepper and feta again.
4. Mix the broth with the remaining melted butter, and then pour the potatoes into the mold with this mixture. We cover the mold with a lid or construct it from a double layer of heat-resistant foil. Put the form with potatoes in the oven for 45 minutes (until the potatoes become soft).
5. Salmon fillet cut into large pieces, put in a bowl, pour lemon juice, sprinkle with salt, then mix with your hands. We leave it to marinate.
6. We remove the form with potatoes from the oven, and increase the heating in it to 210 degrees Celsius. Spread pieces of salmon on the potatoes, sprinkle with a mixture of breadcrumbs, butter and dill. We put the mold back in the heated oven, do not cover it with a lid (foil).
7. Bake the salmon for 15 minutes, until the crumb turns golden brown. The finished dish is decorated with dill sprigs and served hot on the table.
Bon appetit!
