Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
How to bake juicy duck breasts in the oven? Prepare all the products listed on the list. If you have frozen meat, then take it out of the freezer in advance and leave it at room temperature until it is completely defrosted. Remove the remaining feathers from the breasts, if any, rinse and dry with paper napkins. There should be no water residue on the meat, this is very important.
Step 2:
Prepare the marinade. Pour vegetable oil and soy sauce into a deep small container. Add mustard and honey. Peel the garlic and pass it through the press - How much garlic should I use? Determine its amount according to your own taste preferences, I took 4 teeth. Add salt if necessary, but remember that soy sauce is salty by itself. Add dry spices and ground pepper as well. Mix everything together.
Step 3:
Send the duck breasts to a deep container. Mix thoroughly so that the duck is completely in the marinade. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or a lid and put it in the refrigerator for at least an hour. The longer the breasts are marinated, the tastier they will turn out. You can leave it in the refrigerator overnight.
Step 4:
Put the pickled duck in a baking dish. Place in a preheated oven and bake until cooked. How long and in what mode to cook meat? Focus on the capabilities of your oven. I baked at a temperature of 200 degrees for 50-60 minutes. If you are cooking in the oven for the first time, then periodically check the degree of readiness so as not to overdo the breasts and so that they remain as juicy as possible.
Step 5:
Pour the juice formed during baking over the finished duck breasts.
Step 6:
Serve immediately hot.
Step 7:
Offer fresh vegetables and salads to the duck. Garnish the dish with a few sprigs of dill or parsley.
Bon appetit!
Pierce the meat with a knife: if the knife enters easily and the light juice flows, then it is ready, if the juice is pink or red, you need to continue cooking.
If you use ready-made spice mixes, be sure to read the composition on the package. Often, salt is already present in such mixtures, take this into account, otherwise you risk over-salting the dish.
Keep in mind that everyone's ovens are different. The temperature and cooking time may differ from those specified in the recipe. To make any baked dish successful, use useful information about the features of ovens !
