Step 1:
Prepare the specified products for making cookies. Butter must first be taken out of the refrigerator so that it is softened, this can be done half an hour or an hour before baking. Medium-sized eggs, they will need only yolks: one in the dough, the other for greasing cookies before baking. Pre-sift the flour. Cumin is used for sprinkling cookies, if it is not to your taste, you can refuse it or replace it with coarse salt.
Step 2:
Turn on the oven to warm up 180 degrees. In a deep bowl, mix one yolk, sifted flour, softened butter and salt. Knead the elastic dough. Flour you may take more or less than indicated. Focus on the dough. The finished dough is easily assembled into a ball and does not stick to your hands.
Step 3:
The dough is not sticky, but if it is rolled out on the table, you will have to add more flour. In order not to do this, it is better to roll out the cookie dough through baking parchment. The thinner the dough is rolled out, the crispier the finished cookie will turn out. Roll out the dough thinly and randomly slice. You can use stripes, squares or cut out various shapes.
Step 4:
Transfer the prepared raw cookies to a baking sheet or oven dish, previously covered with baking paper. Shake the raw yolk slightly and lubricate the surface of the cookies with a culinary brush. Sprinkle the cookies with cumin. You can sprinkle cookies with coarse sea salt or leave them completely without sprinkling. Put the baking tray with cookies in the preheated oven for 12-17 minutes. The baking time will depend on the power of the oven and the thickness of the cookies.
Step 5:
Remove the finished cookies from the oven and let cool. Such cookies are perfect as a snack not only for beer, but also for wine.
