Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
Pour boiling water over the oat flakes so that they are covered with water. Cover with a lid or a flat plate and leave for 10 minutes.

Combine flour and sugar in a bowl.

Combine honey and butter.
Step 4:
Add baking powder and, stirring, heat in a water bath. You should get a homogeneous, very pleasant foaming mass.
Step 5:
Add the steamed oatmeal to the flour. Mix it up.
Step 6:
Pour in honey and butter. Mix it up.
Step 7:
Using a tablespoon, place the oatmeal dough on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Flatten the dough to get flatter "piles".
Step 8:
Bake at 180 degrees until golden brown (about 15-20 minutes, but it may take more or less time, focus on your technique). The longer the cookies are baked, the less soft they will be.
