Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
How to make cottage cheese-oatmeal casserole with blueberries? Prepare the products. Cottage cheese is suitable for any fat content, the higher it is, the tastier the casserole will turn out, but also calorific, keep this in mind. Choose a high-quality, natural product, without vegetable fats. Take natural yogurt, without additives. Flakes are better suited for instant cooking, corn starch. Berries can be taken both fresh and frozen.
Step 2:
Combine cottage cheese with yogurt and whisk until smooth with an immersion blender. Do not skip this step, the more homogeneous the mass is, the more tender the casserole will turn out.
Step 3:
Add egg, sugar and salt. Be sure to wash the eggs before use, as even the seemingly clean shell may contain harmful bacteria. It is best to use food detergents and a brush.
Step 4:
Whisk everything again with a blender until smooth.
Step 5:
Divide the curd mass into two equal parts. First add the oat flakes and mix.
Step 6:
Put blueberries and starch in the second one. Whisk the part with the berries until smooth.
Step 7:
Line the bottom of the cake pan with parchment. Put the curd mass with oat flakes on top and smooth it with a spatula.
Step 8:
Spread the blueberry mass on top. Also level it out. Put the casserole in a preheated 170 ° C oven for 30-35 minutes. Cool the finished casserole, remove from the mold, decorate with blueberries and mint. Serve to the table. Bon appetit!
Instead of blueberries, you can use other berries (blueberries, raspberries or strawberries).
Bananas are also well suited for the top layer.
How to bake a lush and tender casserole? Do not expect the same increase in volume from the curd mass, as, for example, in a yeast cake or sponge cake. The splendor of the curd casserole directly depends on the size of the chosen shape: the smaller the shape and the higher the sides, the higher the layer of curd mass for baking will turn out, which means the finished casserole will be higher.
