Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
Prepare the ingredients for the pudding. We will prepare a pudding from specially cooked semolina porridge for him. Pour milk into a metal bowl or saucepan, put the saucepan on the stove.
Step 2:
Add sugar, vanilla and salt to the milk. Stir the mixture until the dry ingredients dissolve. If desired and to taste, the amount of these ingredients can be reduced or increased. If the pudding is served with a sweet addition, for example, jam, jam or fresh berries, then this amount is quite enough. When the milk starts to boil, pour semolina in a thin stream, stir with a spoon with the help of the second hand at the same time so that no lumps turn out.
Step 3:
Cook semolina porridge for about 3 minutes on medium heat, stirring constantly. We leave the semolina porridge to cool, it should be at room temperature or slightly warmer.
Step 4:
We separate the egg whites from the yolks. Whisk the proteins with a blender or mixer until a fluffy foam is obtained.
Step 5:
Put the yolks in a bowl with semolina porridge and beat with a mixer until a homogeneous mass slightly increased in volume is obtained. We put the protein mass in parts in a bowl with semolina porridge, gently stirring it, it is better to do it with a silicone or wooden spatula.
Step 6:
Grease the form for baking semolina pudding with butter and sprinkle with semolina. We put the mass prepared for pudding into the mold. The oven is heated to 200 degrees. Bake the pudding for about 30 minutes. the cooking time depends on the size of the mold and the amount of mass, as well as on the operation of the oven. Semolina pudding should turn brown. We check the readiness of the dish with a wooden toothpick. If it comes out of the mass dry, the pudding can be removed from the oven.
Step 7:
Pudding can be prepared in a large form or in small portions, in which the dish will be served to the table. we serve semolina pudding warm or cold to the table, optionally with jam, jam or fruit. Bon appetit!
