How to bake a cod steak in foil with garlic and oranges?
1. Clean the fish well, removing all unnecessary parts, wash. Cut into portions (about 2 cm thick), I got 5 pieces. Blot each of them with a paper towel - there should be no excess moisture.
2. Cut the foil into pieces - as many portions as you got.
3. In the middle of each rectangle of foil, put a fish steak (a portion piece).
4. Peel the garlic and squeeze it through a press, distribute it over all the steaks.
5. Top with spices and dried herbs: ginger, coriander, fennel, mint. Add salt and orange zest. In general, you can choose spices according to your taste, orange slices and zest can be replaced with lemon.
6. Put small pieces of butter and a piece of orange on the steaks.
7. Wrap the foil tightly and leave to marinate for half an hour.
8. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees.
9. Cook the fish for 20 minutes.
10. Serve the steaks to the table, garnished with herbs. They are very tasty both hot and cold.
