Cooking method

Cooking time: 45 min

1. Remove the finished puff pastry from the freezer in advance so that it becomes soft.

2. Turn the oven on 180 degrees Celsius for preheating.

3. Prepare the filling for puff buns . To do this, rinse ripe apples under running water and wipe dry with paper towels. Then peel the fruits, cut out the core and seeds, and cut the rest into small cubes.

4. In a bowl, mix sugar and ground cinnamon together. Then sprinkle the chopped apples with this mixture and mix well. Add a little flour so that it absorbs the juice released from the apples, and the filling becomes less watery.

5. Lightly sprinkle the work surface with flour. Get the puff pastry and roll it out into two thin, square-shaped sheets of equal size and shape. Cut each leaf into four equal parts. Put the previously prepared apple filling on one half of each part, distributing it evenly over 1 \ 2 parts of a piece of dough. Cover the chopped apples with spices with the second half of the dough on top and fasten the edges with a fork, pressing it tightly along the edges of the dough. Thus, make 4 buns from one sheet and the same amount from the other.

6. Prepare a baking sheet for the oven. Cover it with baking parchment.

7. Place the formed buns on a baking sheet. Melt a piece of butter and grease the tops of the buns with it.

8. Put the buns in the preheated oven for 15-18 minutes to bake until an appetizing golden color.

9. Prepare a sweet glaze to cover the buns. To do this, mix powdered sugar with a small amount of water in a bowl. Mix thoroughly to obtain a homogeneous mass.

10. As soon as the buns are ready, take them out of the oven and pour the prepared sweet glaze over them.

Bon appetit!
