Composition / ingredients
Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
Measure out the necessary ingredients for making a casserole with apples and semolina curd. Cottage cheese can be taken of any fat content (5%, 9%). The higher the fat content, the more tender the casserole will be. The main thing is that the cottage cheese is not dry
Step 2:
Grind the cottage cheese in a blender so that it becomes homogeneous, without lumps. At the same time, add about 1/3 of the milk so that the cottage cheese is crushed better. It is convenient to use cottage cheese in packs, it has a pasty consistency. Such cottage cheese can be used immediately. But still crushed in a blender will be even more tender.
Step 3:
In the grated cottage cheese, break the eggs and whisk until smooth.
Step 4:
Put the resulting curd mass in a convenient deep container. Add semolina, vanilla, mix.
Step 5:
Pour in the remaining milk, mix well. Adding milk will make the casserole more tender and soft.
Step 6:
A viscous, homogeneous curd mass is obtained. Let it stand for 10-15 minutes so that the semolina swells a little.
Step 7:
Wash, dry, peel and peel the apples. Cut the apples into cubes. Choose the size of the cubes as desired.
Step 8:
Add the prepared apples to the curd mass, mix well so that the apples are evenly distributed.
Step 9:
When choosing a baking dish, keep in mind that the casserole rises significantly during cooking. Therefore, take a uniform with high sides. I have a uniform the size of 18*18*5 see Lubricate the bottom and sides of the mold with a piece of butter. Lay out the curd mass, smooth it out.
Step 10:
Cook the casserole in a preheated 180C oven for 25-30 minutes until the top is ruddy. The cooking time depends on the specifics of the oven, as well as on the material from which the mold is made. Ceramics take longer to heat up than heat-resistant glass or aluminum. Consequently, the baking time will also increase.
Step 11:
Let the finished casserole cool down a little, cut into pieces and serve with honey, jam or sour cream. Bon appetit!
You can add ground cinnamon to the casserole, it will complement the apple flavor well with its aroma.
I make cottage cheese casserole quite often and almost always with apples. This is probably the most favorite option.
Keep in mind that everyone's ovens are different. The temperature and cooking time may differ from those specified in the recipe. To make any baked dish turn out successfully, use useful information in the article about ovens here .
