Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
How to make a salad with sesame, cucumber and soy sauce. Prepare the necessary ingredients for the salad. Cucumbers choose dense, tough. If there are soft areas on cucumbers, it is better not to buy them. Sluggish vegetables are also not worth eating in a salad. Sesame can take the usual white, black or make a mixture. If desired, you can supplement the salad with green onion feathers, onions and / or garlic.
Step 2:
Wash the cucumbers and cut them into thin circles. Of course, it is more convenient and faster to cut cucumbers with a special grater. However, if there is no grater, you can use a regular knife. If cucumbers have too hard skin, then it is better to clean it. The same applies to seeds: in large overripe cucumbers, the seeds can be tough, so it's better to get rid of them too.
Step 3:
Prepare the necessary ingredients for the dressing. Balsamic vinegar can be replaced with apple or wine vinegar (red or white - it does not matter). If you prefer a more oriental taste of the dish, use rice vinegar.
Step 4:
Separately mix soy sauce, vegetable oil, balsamic vinegar and sugar. Mix everything and leave the dressing for 5 minutes so that all the sugar dissolves. Soy sauce can be replaced with teriyaki. You don't need to add sugar to it - it's already sweet.
Step 5:
Pour the dressing into the cucumbers and mix so that all the cucumbers are covered with sauce. Put the salad in the refrigerator for 15-20 minutes to soak. During this time, mix the cucumbers with the sauce again.
Step 6:
Sprinkle sesame seeds on the salad before serving. Bon appetit!
Cucumbers can be cut not only into circles, but also into medium cubes or even large cubes. Slicing practically does not play a role here.
For sharpness, you can add ground chili pepper to the salad on the tip of a knife or finely chop a small piece of fresh chili pepper.
This recipe is basic. Therefore, you can add any other vegetables to it at will: bell peppers, carrots, tomatoes, onions and garlic.
