Delicious sponge cake. Make an ordinary tea party festive! It is easy to prepare, but it takes time (for the biscuit to lie, impregnation) cake. You can use any cream, for example, it turns out very tasty with sour cream. You can also decorate to your taste. Try it!

Cooking method

First we prepare the biscuit base:

1. Break the eggs into a bowl.
2. Add sugar to the eggs and whisk.
3. Pour the melted butter (important - already cooled) into the same bowl.
4. Add tea and cinnamon. Mix everything together.
5. Sift the flour, mix it with baking powder. Pour it over the rest of the ingredients in small portions, stirring. The dough should turn out like pancakes (the consistency of thick sour cream).
6. Grease the mold with butter, pour the dough into it.
7. Bake at 180 degrees for 1 hour.
8. Cover the finished base with a towel and let it lie there for 7 hours, then cut into two cakes. Cut the dry crusts on the sides carefully and evenly.

Now let's do the impregnation:

9. Combine honey in a cup with water, stir until smooth.
10. With a brush, moisten the cakes on both sides, with a thin layer.
11. Put the soaked cakes in the refrigerator for a few hours.

Cream and cake decorating time:

12. Cream should be well cooled. The container in which you will beat them, also cool, pour cream into it.
13. Beat at low speed, gradually increase it.
14. Pour powdered sugar and vanilla in a thin stream. Beat the cream to soft peaks.
15. Take out the cakes, put the bottom one on a beautiful dish, apply the cream liberally.
16. Put the second cake on top, and a layer of cream on it as well. Thickly coat the sides of the cake with cream.
17. It remains to decorate the cake with almond nuts cut lengthwise. However, the sprinkling of the cake can be any!

Cake with cream of whipped cream is better served to the table immediately.
