Cooking time: 2 hours
  1. Step 1:

    Then add sugar.

  3. Step 3:

    Step 3.

    Mix thoroughly until smooth.

  4. Step 4:

    Step 4.

Add the zest of 2 lemons.

  5. Step 5:

    Step 5.

    Add vanilla sugar.

  6. Step 6:

    Mix thoroughly.

    Step 8.

Then add lemon juice and salt.

  9. Step 9:

    Step 9.

Sift wheat flour into the mixture. Add baking powder to the mixture.

  10. Step 10:

    Step 10.

Mix until smooth. We separate a third of the dough into another container.

  11. Step 11:

    Step 11.

Add green food coloring to a smaller part of the dough. Mix thoroughly.

  12. Step 12:

    Step 12.

Add yellow food coloring to most of the dough. Mix thoroughly.

  13. Step 13:

    Step 13.

We line the square shape (I have a shape of 26 * 26 cm) with parchment and put the yellow dough into it. Bake in a preheated oven to 160 degrees for 35-40 minutes.

  14. Step 14:

    Step 14.

We line the square shape with parchment and put the green dough into it. Bake in a preheated oven to 160 degrees for 15-20 minutes.

  15. Step 15:

    Step 15.

We take the finished yellow cake out of the mold, lubricate it with condensed milk. (Instead of condensed milk, you can use jam, for example apricot).

  16. Step 16:

We take the finished green cake out of the mold, put it on top of the yellow cake, press down a little.

  17. Step 17:

    Step 17.

Cut off the edges (about 1 cm on each side).

  18. Step 18:

    Step 18.

    Cut into 2 equal parts.

  19. Step 19:

    Step 19.

Very thinly cut off the top layer, so we get a rough surface. The most convenient way to do this is with a bread knife.

  20. Step 20:

    Step 20.

    Cut into 6 equal parts.

  21. Step 21:

    Step 21.

We put the finished cakes on a plate.

  22. Step 22:

    Step 22.

Prepare edible soap. We send egg white, 2 tablespoons of sugar and 0.5 teaspoons of lemon juice to the plate.

  23. Step 23:

    Step 23.

Beat with a mixer until foam appears.

  24. Step 24:

    Step 24.

Decorate the cake with foam when serving. The cakes are ready! Enjoy your meal!

If you have a mold smaller than mine (26*26 cm), I recommend reducing the amount of ingredients. You can lubricate the yellow cake not only with condensed milk, you can use jam (preferably not bright), for example apricot. Also, if you have two identical square shapes, then bake both cakes at once, in order to shorten the cooking time.
