Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
How to make cauliflower with egg in a frying pan? For cooking, you can use both fresh cauliflower and frozen. Moreover, the latter should not be defrosted in advance. And the fresh one needs to be washed under running water and disassembled into inflorescences. So, pour cold tap water into the pan. Add the cauliflower and put on medium heat. As soon as the water boils, add salt and cook for another five minutes.
Step 2:
Put the cabbage in a colander and give the excess water time to drain, as the roasting process follows. If the inflorescences are too wet, they will be stewed, not fried.
Step 3:
Wash the eggs under running water and drive them into a bowl. Add a pinch of salt there and whisk with a fork until light bubbles form, just so that the salt dissolves, and the protein and yolk combine well.
Step 4:
Heat a non-stick frying pan over high heat. Add the butter and, reducing the heat to medium, melt it to a liquid state. It is butter that will greatly enrich the taste of this dish. Although, you can also fry on sunflower.
Step 5:
Put the cabbage inflorescences in a frying pan and fry them for a couple of minutes over medium heat, without covering with a lid, so that the cabbage does not boil too much.
Step 6:
Pour the egg mixture into the pan and immediately mix everything with a spatula, preventing the eggs from turning into an omelet. Cook for another five minutes over medium heat, stirring the dish constantly so that it does not burn. As a rule, this time is enough for the eggs to reach readiness. But, of course, everyone's plates are different, so focus on your own. The egg mixture should turn white and become elastic, but not wet. Before serving, pepper the dish to taste.
It is on such simple recipes that our basic diet is built. But, despite all the simplicity, the dish has an excellent taste. Tender, well-boiled cabbage inflorescences in nutritious egg "breading". The taste of the dish is so harmonious and unobtrusive that you can eat half a portion at once without even blinking an eye!
Bon appetit!
