Step 1:
To prepare delicious buns, we prepare the necessary products and spices.
Step 2:
Sift six hundred grams of wheat flour into a volumetric bowl.
Step 3:
Pour eight grams of dry yeast, one third of a teaspoon of salt and one teaspoon of vanilla sugar into a bowl.
Step 4:
Add ten grams of baking powder and fifty grams of sugar to the bowl.
Step 5:
Add fifty grams of melted butter to the bowl.
Step 6:
Put two egg yolks in a bowl.
Step 7:
Pour three hundred milliliters of warm kefir into a common bowl and knead the dough for about seven minutes.
Step 8:
Add a little vegetable oil to the bowl with the dough.
Step 9:
Lubricate the dough with vegetable oil so that a crust does not form and, covering it with a napkin, we put it on proofing for seventy-five minutes.
Step 10:
After a while, lubricate the work surface of the table with vegetable oil and spread the dough, which is then carefully kneaded with our hands.
Step 11:
Divide the dough into fourteen identical pieces.
Step 12:
In a bowl with a hundred grams of sugar, pour one full teaspoon of cinnamon.
Step 13:
Mix sugar and cinnamon well together.
Step 14:
Knead each piece of dough to a fairly thin three-millimeter tortilla.
Step 15:
Lubricate each cake with a small amount of vegetable oil.
Step 16:
Spread and evenly distribute the sugar with cinnamon on each tortilla.
Step 17:
Tightly pressing down, we roll each tortilla into a roll.
Step 18:
We connect the ends and edges of each roll well.
Step 19:
Retreating from the base of the order of one centimeter, we cut the rolls with a sharp knife.
Step 20:
We throw one resulting strip around the other.
Step 21:
We braid the two resulting strips into a pigtail.
Step 22:
Wrap and tie the pigtail into a knot, then form buns.
Step 23:
Sprinkle the baking sheet with a small amount of flour and spread the resulting buns on it, which we then cover with a napkin and put on proofing for twenty to thirty minutes.
Step 24:
After the time has elapsed, lubricate the buns with beaten chicken egg and put the baking sheet in a preheated oven to one hundred and seventy-five degrees.
Step 25:
After twenty minutes, we take the baking sheet with the buns out of the oven and lubricate them with the prepared sugar syrup.
