Composition / ingredients
Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
1.The technology is extremely simple! Mix all our ingredients in a large container (everything except eggs). Add the orange zest.
Step 2:
2. Lightly beat the eggs with a whisk and pour into our mixture.
Step 3:
3.Now we need to mix everything thoroughly. I recommend doing this with gloves so that the dough does not stick to your hands. We form "bars" from our dough.
Step 4:
4. Put the biscotti in the oven for 20 minutes in convection mode at 160 C.
Step 5:
5. After 20 minutes, remove the biscotti from the oven, let it cool (about 5 minutes). Next, cut them into medium pieces and put them back in the oven in the same mode, but at 120 C.
Step 6:
6. Everything is ready, dear friends! Enjoy your meal! Serve with a cup of fragrant coffee. Always Yours, Old Sam. Source Old Sam
Biscotti, aka cantucci, aka cantuccini is an amazing traditional nut cookies originally from Italy. A delicious dessert, if you like, and a great addition to your morning coffee. I took the recipe of Maestro Gordon Ramsay as a basis, he offered a very intriguingly simple recipe!
My recipe book was replenished with flour products, buns, and pastries in general, but do not stop - the next stage is cookies, and there may be real desserts, pastry... Maybe one day we will make a real cake! But this is a completely different story.
So, biscotti turned out to be surprisingly easy to prepare, and its taste qualities are beyond praise! This simple cookie is easy to make at home and how to do it - I'll show you. Imagine the surprise of relatives or guests when you tell them that your homemade cookies are now, although it's more like biscotti crackers!
Just super, thanks to Chef Gordon Ramsay! This is really a very simple, but incredibly delicious recipe for biscotti with almonds, hazelnuts, pistachios and orange peel.
Italian cookies - simple, delicious, for a light snack.
Serve with a cup of fragrant coffee or tea.
Bon appetit, dear friends! Always Yours, Old Sam.
