Puffs with peaches

This is a kind of sugar puffs with the addition of peaches. For puffs, it is better to use puff pastry without yeast, but if there is no such thing, then puff-yeast will do. In addition to peaches, pears, plums and other fruits can be used.

Step-by-step cooking

Cooking time: 45 min
  1. Step 1:

    Step 1.

Prepare the ingredients. To prepare puffs with peaches, we will need: puff pastry without yeast (if you take store-bought, it is better in plates, it is more convenient to roll and cut it); ripe peaches, sugar and powdered sugar.

  2. Step 2:

    Step 2.

Roll out the dough into a rectangular layer with a thickness of no more than 5 mm. If the dough is ready in plates, then you do not need to roll them out much. Cut the dough into identical rectangles or squares. Transfer the dough pieces to a baking sheet lined with parchment.

  3. Step 3:

    Step 3.

Wash and dry the peaches. Cut in half, remove the bones. Cut each half of the peach into 3-4 slices. Next, you can sprinkle the peaches with sugar and mix gently so as not to damage them. I did it differently.

  4. Step 4:

    Step 4.

I sprinkled part of the sugar on the surface of the puffs., laid out the peaches and sprinkled x with the remaining sugar.

  5. Step 5:

    Step 5.

Lay 3-4 slices of peaches on each rectangle of dough.

  6. Step 6:

    Step 6.

Leave the puffs to melt for 10-15 minutes. Bake in a preheated 180 ° C oven for about 20 minutes until a golden crust appears on the surface of the dough. Do not open the oven during baking.

  7. Step 7:

    Step 7.

Remove the finished puffs from the oven, cool slightly and sprinkle with powdered sugar and garnish with mint. You can serve it hot, warm or cold. Enjoy your meal!

I recently cooked ordinary sugar puffs for breakfast. Everyone was delighted. I have never made them, preferring to cook complex dishes from puff pastry. Apparently, I had enough of this baking as a child - my mother often made such from purchased dough. My family liked these puffs so much that they asked for more. But it's not interesting to cook the same thing, so I turned on the experimenter. I thought for a long time what to cook them with better - with plums or peaches. I stopped at peaches, because I was afraid that the plum would all leak out.

As a result, I got delicious airy puffs with slices of fragrant peaches. These puffs flew away so quickly that I had practically nothing left to photograph.
