Cooking method
And first of all we will prepare the ingredients.
1) Sausages need to be cut into two parts, it is best to cut them across, and put them aside.
2) Grate the cheese, and put it aside.
3) Chicken egg, you need to beat well with a little water. Once whipped, we also put it aside.
4) Puff pastry, rolled out a little with a rolling pin.
And then cut it into strips. Personally, I cut a little crookedly, and so it's best to cut a layer of puff pastry into strips, 1 cm wide.
As soon as all the ingredients are prepared, we do the following!
5) We do everything at once on the protven, and it's best to put strips of puff pastry on a silicone non-stick mat.
6) And so we do such actions!
1 after 1 strip of puff pastry, turn away approximately to the other edge.
And where you have formed the middle, we put the sausage there, or rather its half.
After you put the sausage, the strips of puff pastry that you turned away are returned back, so to speak, the strips of dough should already be on the sausage. After that, we bend the other strips of puff pastry in the same way, lay the sausage with a new one, and you should get the same thing that the dough lies on the sausage. And we indulge in all these actions with other sausages, and another layer of puff pastry.
Once everything is done, the cut needs to be bent and joined together.
7) And after all this, lubricate the surface of the dough with beaten chicken egg.
Lubricate very well, so that after baking there would be a beautiful crust on the dough.
8) As soon as the surface of the dough is greased, sprinkle 1 portion with cheese.
(Personally, I covered everything abundantly with cheese, and after baking it turned out very nice!)
9) Another portion of sausages in the dough, sprinkle very well with sesame seeds.
(I didn't sprinkle so much, I should have done better)
10) And as soon as everything was done, the surface was smeared with beaten chicken egg, 1 portion was sprinkled with cheese, and the other portion was sprinkled with sesame seeds, everything was sent to the oven for 20 or 30 minutes at 180 C.
A ruddy crust should appear on the dough, as soon as it appears, we take out the protven, and shift the "pies" of sausages in the dough onto a plate.
