Step 1:
In order to prepare a delicious large orange cupcake, prepare premium wheat flour, one large orange, granulated sugar, baking soda, strongly carbonated water, vegetable oil, a little raisins and a little fine salt.
Step 2:
In a large bowl, combine the sifted wheat flour, baking soda and a small pinch of fine salt. At this step, you can also add some sweet spices to your taste, for example, ground cinnamon, ground ginger, grated nutmeg.
Step 3:
Rinse the orange thoroughly, peel off the zest and squeeze out the juice (you will need 100 ml of juice). In a bowl of suitable volume, combine orange zest, orange juice, sparkling water and vegetable oil.
Step 4:
Gently combine the flour and orange-oil mixture and mix quickly until a homogeneous dough is obtained.
Step 5:
Add washed raisins or other dried fruits (for example, dried cherries or cranberries). Stir so that the raisins are evenly distributed over the entire volume of the dough.
Step 6:
Put the finished dough into a pre-prepared form and put it in an oven already preheated to 180 degrees. Bake the orange cupcake large for about 40 minutes until slightly risen and noticeably browned. The finished cake must be removed from the oven, cooled slightly, removed from the mold, allowed to cool to room temperature and decorated with powdered sugar or chocolate icing before serving.
