Cooking method
To make compote from Victoria, this wonderful, fragrant berry, we need to wash these berries carefully so that they do not soften and lose their shape.
In a saucepan, bring the water to a boil, add sugar, after its dissolution, put Victoria's berries in boiling syrup and cook for literally 5 minutes so that all the berries remain intact.
After the syrup cools down, we put our strawberries in sterile jars, bring the syrup to a boil and pour them over the berries. Roll up the jars, turn upside down, cover with a blanket and leave to cool. That's it, our strawberry compote is ready!
